Security Manager - Warwickshire

Leisuresec PLC are looking to recruit a Security Manager, based at the company’s head office in Warwickshire, with travel throughout the UK. Reporting to Leisuresec’s National Compliance Manager the successful candidate will assume full responsibility for the operational delivery of Leisuresec’s security services, overseeing deployment of staff.

As Security Manager, you will deal directly with Leisuresec’s customers on a daily basis, addressing all queries and complaints quickly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.  You will attend operational meetings, maintain H&S and quality procedures and review risk assessments.  Good command of the English language, customer service and strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Applicants should have previous experience of the security industry and hold an SIA licence.

  • Full responsibility for operational delivery of all Control Room and site/venue based security activity
  • Overseeing deployment of Security Operatives
  • Escalation of security related activities to appropriate line Managers
  • Ensure that routine Control Room activity and security systems applications are monitored and managed in an efficient and competent manner
  • Ensure that robust and effective contingency plans are in place for all emergencies and events which may cause a negative business impact
  • Ensuring that incident and accident investigations meet time critical targets, are thorough and accurate with remedial action plans created and delivered
  • Attend operational meetings and give feedback where required
  • Daily management of ground operations
  • Ensure compliance for all audit requirements associated with our own quality processes
  • Ensure the maintenance of a healthy, safe and secure environment and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation
  • Ensure all customer queries / complaints are correctly recorded through the customer complaints procedure and reported to the National Compliance Manager 
  • Maintain operational reports and records 
  • Review procedures, assignment instructions and risk assessments to ensure that all essential activities are covered and are tactically sound
  • Carry out site surveys and risk assessments when required 

Person Specification & Skills

  • IT literate – Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • SIA Licence 
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Diligent and organisationally competent
  • Good command of the English language in spoken and written form
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of ISO9001 an advantage
  • Driving licence
